ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Duration of the Oral Presentations: 30 minutes incl. 10 minutes for Q&A.
Plenary conferences: 45 minutes incl. 10 minutes for Q&A.
Oral language is English. Oral material (e.g. Powerpoint) should be in English.
POSTERS
The poster language is English. The poster board has following dimension: 1,2 x 1,5 m (width x height). The poster board orientation: portrait. All posters need to be delivered to the congress venue by the author in person. Each poster board is numbered according to the congress program. Pins for attachment will be available on site.
Posters will be accessed during coffee breaks. You must be present at your posters at predetermined times during the congress program.
The abstract submission must be uploaded via the on-line system at the Special Congress Website. Abstracts submitted by e-mail are not possible.

After submission, a confirmation email will be sent to the submitting author. Submitted abstracts will be treated as confidential and will only be shared to the Congress Scientific Committee.
Submission deadline extended to March 31, 2026
All submitted abstracts will go through the review process.
Notification of acceptation/rejection will be sent to the submitting author by April 15, 2026.
If your abstract is accepted, you will have to make Registration to the Congress pay the Participation fee.

Abstract Style and Template
The abstract, should not exceed 3400 characters (approx. one A4 page), incl. spaces and punctuation. The abstract must be written in English and should provide a clear description of the aims, methods and results of the study. Concluding remarks and acknowledgments may be given at the end. Emphasis should be on the technical and/or scientific results of the study.

Presentation Requirements
The presentation (files) can be sent in advance via the online system or brought on a USB flash drive and handed over to the organizers at least 2 hours before the presentation.
Format: PPTX (PDF).
Image size: 16:9. Include all used fonts in the document and attach embedded external (video) files.
The speaker and his own company are responsible for the information shared during the congress.
Poster Template
The organizer is not obliged to print posters. Please bring a printed poster to the congress. Mounting materials will be available on site.

Special Issue Scope
This Special Issue presents cutting-edge research addressing both fundamental and applied aspects of coatings science. Topics include novel binders, pigments, and additives; advanced formulation concepts; corrosion and architectural coatings; and emerging testing and modelling methods. Contributions highlighting digital tools, artificial intelligence, and life-cycle perspectives are particularly welcome. By integrating scientific insight with industrial relevance, this collection provides a platform for advancing organic coatings toward smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions. The issue is dedicated to innovative developments shaping the future of organic coatings and covers a broad spectrum of topics, from material design and formulation to processing, application, and performance assessment. Particular attention will be given to environmentally responsible coatings, smart functionalities, durability enhancement, and digitalization in coatings research and production. High-quality original contributions addressing current challenges and emerging trends are encouraged, fostering cross-disciplinary exchange and supporting the transition toward advanced, sustainable surface technologies.
